Single Axis Knee Joint with an integrated lock mechanism which secures the knee joint in extension, providing stability, comfort, and secure walking for the prosthetic limb user. This is especially important for uncertain prosthetic wearers. As soon as the user with the prosthetic leg takes a step and puts weight on the knee joint, the brake comes into action and the knee joint is blocked. Locking occurs automatically at full extension but can be released using the lock cable.
